EXPEDITION COUNTRYSIDE
The Swedish countryside must be one of the most unique things we have. The pandemic has, in a positive way, made us look out towards our small cozy towns and villages again. We already packed the car in 2018 and set out on a 450-mile journey and were able to sum up our own donut places after it. Here are three suggestions, some more famous than others. Enjoy!
ÖSTERGÖTLAND: VADSTENA KLOSTERHOTEL
With its famous city icons in the form of Saint Birgitta and King Gustav Vasa, there is an incredibly exciting history that goes back to the 12th century in Vadstena. You can feel this history when you walk around cozy alleys, castles, monasteries and churches. Vadstena is strategically located by Lake Vättern, halfway between Stockholm and Gothenburg, and is a perfect place for a company to gather its offices for inspiring and creative meetings.

TRANSPORT
The easiest way is to arrive by bus. From Stockholm it takes just over 3 hours and from Gothenburg slightly less.
If you want to arrive by train, the easiest way is to Mjölby, where a short bus ride will then take you the remaining 20 minutes.
ACCOMMODATION
Here you can stay at Sweden's only monastery hotel.
The hotel has a rich history and several buildings around Vadstena.
Have a smaller house all to yourselves, or live in the monks' old dormitories. There is also a lovely spa that you can take advantage of. You eat breakfast in the King's Hall and dinner in the Monk's Monastery.
MEETING ROOMS
Although the city dates back to the 12th century, there is all the modern technology you could need in the many different meeting rooms.
Now for one of the highlights, your meeting can take place in the throne room of the castle, the moat, the library, in the monastery or in the monastery church itself! What other facilities have that range!?
ACTIVITIES
Vadstena as a city can offer everything from spiritual meditation to adrenaline-pumping activities on Lake Vättern or nearby Omberg.
kayak
DRINK
soccer golf
wine tasting
tips walk
zipline
mountain bike

THE VALLEY: THE ANT FARM
7 km north of Mora along the beautiful shore of Lake Orsasjön lies this golden nugget of dalagård from 1729. It's hard to get more picturesque than this. If you are a group of 10 - 20 people, this is an excellent package. Cozy bedrooms, open fires, activities in beautiful surroundings and locally produced food. The Vasalopps winner Staffan Larsson is a recurring inspirer at this farm and you have many options to come up with challenging things together with Staffan. A warm welcome to Myrängsgården, which leaves no one untouched!

TRANSPORT
Myrängsgården is 8 minutes north of Mora and the easiest way to get there is by chartered bus or train.
From Stockholm, the bus journey takes 3 hours and 45 minutes.
By train from Stockholm, the journey takes the same time to Mora (without changing), and then a short bus journey.
ACCOMMODATION
The resort has retained the old valley culture and allowed the rooms to remain characteristic with handcrafted furniture and comfortable beds. You will be accommodated in the following rooms: The suite, the Orsa room, the Mora room, the Baker's room, the Knight's room and the Princess room.
Fall asleep undisturbed in the evening to the crackling of the fire.
MEETING ROOMS
In the dining room, you sit comfortably in front of the fire in the picture above. You can have your meeting at a long table or divided into several small groups.
We promote varying the meeting inside by taking the next outdoors. Perhaps on the sauna raft or at the edge of the beach at a set table.

Dalarna has a very fine history of various activities that have been taken advantage of here:
church boat rowing
cross-country skiing with Vasalop winner Staffan Larsson
mountain bike
fishing
Yoga

VÄSTERBOTTEN: GRANÖ BECKASIN
Leave the stress of the inner city for a few days and head north towards Granö Beckasin, where you and your colleagues can sleep up among the treetops while the Umeälven meanders by below. The nature around the village of Granö is wonderfully soothing and there is something to offer in all seasons. The conference room is a transparent glass cube located on top of the hill and gives an unforgettable impression. Do as we did the last time we were there and let the guide Lars take you out into the wilderness where he serves reindeer shavings, chanterelles and lingonberries together with fresh brewed coffee...

Granö is located an hour northwest of Umeå along the Umeälven.
Take the sustainable train to Umeå and be picked up at the train station.
The flight to Umeå is a quick alternative and we are ready with the bus outside the hangar for further transport.
